About the Advance Boston Scholarship

Our Mission

Founded in 2023, the Advance Boston Scholarship identifies and invests in the most exceptional Summer Search high school seniors — those who demonstrate outstanding drive, ambition, and potential — as they enroll in selective colleges and universities.

How It Works

The Scholarship provides meaningful financial support to scholars selected for their demonstrated excellence and potential. By investing in the most promising young minds, the scholarship empowers them to attend and thrive at the colleges best suited to their goals and ambitions.

Renewable Support

The Advance Boston Scholarship is renewable for four years, contingent on the fulfillment of all requirements and continued excellence. This provides sustained support throughout a scholar's entire college journey.

Summer Search Partnership

We partner closely with Summer Search, a national nonprofit that provides mentoring, transformative summer experiences, and college support to driven young people across Boston. Summer Search mentors play a vital role in the application process and in supporting scholars throughout their college careers.
